The leader of the group addressed the world from the stage with an important appeal to help Mariupol

Ukraine won the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.

The song of the band Kalush Orchestra – “Stefania” scored 631 points.

According to the results of the professional jury, the Ukrainian band was in fourth place, but everything was determined by the support of the audience – more than 400 points Ukraine received as a result of the audience vote (by SMS).

It is important to note that after the competition performance in the final of “Eurovision–2022” the leader of Kalush Orchestra Oleh Psyuk addressed the world with an important appeal.

“Help Ukraine, Mariupol, help Azovstal! Right now!” he said in English.

According to the Ukrainian commentator of the contest Timur Miroshnychenko, the audience of “Eurovision” numbers at least 200 million viewers, so the call to such a large audience has an extremely important nature.

The second place was taken by Great Britain with 466 points.

And the third place by Spain – 459 points.
