russia has 10 times stronger firepower than Ukraine – Zaluzhnyi

Not surprisingly, russia has a great chance to capture the entire Luhansk region in the near future

Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, warned that Ukraine is seriously losing arms in the eastern part of Luhansk region, which is a key target of russian forces, Sky News reports.

In a conversation with his American counterpart, General Mark Milley, Zaluzhny said that russian troops use artillery “on a massive scale” and that their firepower is 10 times stronger than Ukrainian one.

“Despite everything, we continue to hold our position,” he said.

The commander-in-chief said that russia had deployed up to seven battalion tactical groups in Severodonetsk.

If Severodonetsk falls, only one city, Lysychansk, will remain under Ukrainian control in the Luhansk region.

According to the latest data, the American high-ranking official stated that russian troops could capture the entire Luhansk region within a few weeks.

Meanwhile, it was informed that the Armed Forces liberated three settlements in the Donetsk region from russian occupation and moved the front line 15 km forward.
