What happened? The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down 4 russian helicopters in just 18 minutes.
Source. The press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Details. Anti-aircraft missile units in the south of Ukraine shot down helicopters that were providing fire support to the ground occupation troops in the southern direction. According to preliminary data, these were Ka-52 attack helicopters. The cost of one such rotorcraft is estimated at approximately $16.1 million, consequently the Armed Forces of Ukraine “brought down” $64 million.
One of the downed “whirlybirds” probably fell on the de-occupied territory, and the rest – behind the front line. The Defence Forces fired on two more rotorcraft, so the number of confirmed downed helicopters may increase.
