Source. Energoatom National Nuclear Energy Generating Company.
Details. On November 2, the occupiers damaged the last two communication lines, which connected the station with the power system of Ukraine. After the shutdown at 11:04 p.m., all 20 available diesel generators were switched on.
Currently, 9 alternative energy sources are operating at the nuclear power plant, and power units No. 5 and No. 6 are being transferred to a cold state. According to Energoatom, there is enough fuel for generators operation for 15 days.
“Once again, we appeal to the international community to take immediate measures for the urgent demilitarisation of ZNPP, withdrawal of all russian military from the territory of the plant and the city of Energodar and return of Zaporizhzhia NPP under the full control of Ukraine for the sake of the safety of the whole world!” the NNEGC urged.
