What happened? Three bulk carriers with corn and sunflower meal have left Ukrainian ports and are heading towards China.

Details. "On January 4, three ships left Ukrainian ports, they carry a total of 197,851 tonnes of grain and other foodstuff under the Black Sea Grain Initiative," the statement reads.
It is noted that "70 applications for participation in the initiative were submitted".
According to the report, six vessels are awaiting permission to enter the ports of Ukraine, 26 loaded bulk carriers are waiting to depart to their destinations.
"As of January 4, the total tonnage of grain and other agricultural products exported from three Ukrainian ports is 16 630 516 tonnes. In total, 1,239 vessels were allowed to move today: 616 to enter the Ukrainian ports and 623 to leave them," the JCC points out.
