Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has arrived in Kyiv.

The politician arrived in the capital of Ukraine by train from Przemyśl. Today she is scheduled to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky and hold a joint press conference with him. Later, Ms. Meloni will visit Irpin and Bucha.
Background. Earlier, Italian Prime Minister Meloni considered a visit to Kyiv. In this regard, it is expected that Italy may announce the transfer of the SAMP-T air defence system to Ukraine.
