Net profit of lifecell mobile operator increased by 59% in 2022: from 610 million UAH to 972 million UAH.

The company's annual revenue increased by 11% and the EBITDA index – by 14.6% year-on-year. Due to the war, lifecell's 3-month active subscriber base decreased to 8.5 million.
Revenue: In 2022, lifecell's revenue increased by 11.0% year-on-year to 9,411.7 million UAH (compared to 8,482.7 million UAH in 2021). In Q4 2022, the operator's revenue grew by 8.3% to 2,606.8 million UAH (compared to 2,406.4 million UAH in Q4 2021). This increase in revenue was driven by ARPU growth and increased consumption of data services.
EBITDA index and EBITDA margin: The EBITDA index went up by 14.6% over the year to 5,446.5 million UAH (compared to 4,751.2 million UAH in 2021). In Q4 2022, the EBITDA index increased by 14.1% year-on-year to 1,505.6 million UAH (compared to 1,319.1 million UAH in Q4 2021). At the same time, in 2022, the EBITDA margin grew by 1.9 points to 57.9% compared to 56.0% in 2021. In Q4 2022, this figure increased by 3 points to 57.8% (54.58% in Q4 2021).
Capital investments: Over the year, capital investments decreased by 16.3% to 3,007.6 million UAH compared to 3,593.6 million UAH in 2021. In Q4 2022, this figure decreased by 24.4% year-on-year to 997.4 million UAH (compared to 1,319.3 million UAH in 2021).
Net profit: In 2022, lifecell recorded a net profit of 972.3 million UAH compared to a net profit of 610.9 million UAH in 2021. At the same time, in Q4 2022, net profit rose by 71.8% to 408.8 million UAH (compared to 237.9 million UAH in Q4 2021).
