Answering a question about President Andrzej Duda's statement about MiG-29 fighters, the Prime Minister said that "this could happen in the next four to six weeks."

President Duda announced his readiness to transfer these aircraft to Ukraine last Wednesday in an interview with CNN. "We are ready to deliver these planes, and I am sure that Ukraine will be ready to use them immediately," the president said.

The head of the presidential office, Pawel Szrota, added the next day that "it will not be a large number," in which case Poland is ready to act as part of a broader international coalition. The head of the Ministry of National Defense and Deputy Prime Minister Mariusz Blaszczak assured that there was "full agreement between the president and the government" on the issue of MiG-29 aircraft.
