This was reported by Serhiy Cherevatyi, spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the national TV marathon.
According to him, there are active battles around the city, and the occupiers continue to carry out several dozen attacks a day. The russians are suffering "huge" losses though.
Mr. Cherevatyi stressed that Ukrainian defenders exhausted the enemy, weakening its combat capabilities and breaking the morale of the invaders.
