Farmak Pharmaceutical Company and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv plan to establish the BioMed-Science Hub, a training and research centre.
This is reported in the press release of the pharmaceutical company.
The pharmaceutical manufacturer and the university signed a memorandum of cooperation.
"This project will become a high-tech interdisciplinary platform for the development of the latest technologies for the treatment and diagnosis of common diseases, as well as for conducting high-quality preclinical and clinical trials of new drugs," the company says.
In addition, the memorandum provides for joint work to improve educational programmes and provide students with competencies demanded in the modern labour market.
As part of the memorandum, university students will have the opportunity to undergo internships at Farmak's production facilities and laboratories.
