As a result of today's meeting, it became known about new deliveries of Spanish military aid to Ukraine. The first batch of six modern Leopard 2A4 battle tanks and 20 armored vehicles will arrive from Spain at the end of April.

In the next shipment, Spain plans to send four more Leopard tanks as soon as it completes their repairs.

Reznikov and his Spanish counterpart commented on rumors related to the leak of classified Pentagon documents online. Reznikov noted that "the leak from Washington is a mixture of fakes and truth" and emphasized that the documents published online "contain a lot of data that is not true and no longer relevant. And the story of the leak is beneficial to Russia and its supporters.

The defense ministers of the two countries denied the information that NATO troops were allegedly on the territory of Ukraine.

Minister Margarita Robles said: "The talk of NATO troops being in Ukraine is a complete lie."

She emphasized that the unity of the NATO and EU allies remains strong and Russia will not succeed in destroying it. Reznikov, in turn, said that despite the leak, Ukraine "fully trusts our American allies."

According to CNN, Robles and Reznikov are planning to visit a military hospital in Madrid, where Ukrainian soldiers who were seriously wounded in combat, including those who had their limbs amputated, are being treated.

Reznikov said that Ukraine has requested air defense systems, training programs for the military, and technical advice from Spain.
