The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has reorganised SE NNEGC Energoatom by transforming it into JSC National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom, 100% of the shares in the authorised capital of which belong to the state and are not subject to privatisation or other alienation.
This was reported by the company's press service.

According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Energoatom is one of the largest nuclear power plant operators in Europe, a company strategically important for the country's energy security, so "we are bringing it in line with international corporate governance standards. At the same time, we retain 100% of the company's shares in state ownership."
