According to Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President, during the night attack on Kyiv Oblast, a downed Kh-55SM missile fell in the yard of a private house in the village of Myrotske, Bucha Rayon – the roof was damaged by debris, but no one was injured.
In addition, in Cherkasy Oblast, remnants of a missile, preliminarily identified as Kh-101, were found in a forest near the village of Orshanets. A fire broke out due to the explosion, but it has already been extinguished. There were no casualties. The blast wave damaged 47 windows of the building of the Cherkasy Regional Anti-Tuberculosis Dispensary.
Another missile was found in a field in the village of Tarasivka, Fastiv Rayon. Presumably, Kh-55SM. At the same time, in Zvenyhorod Rayon,Cherkasy Oblast, the site of the fall of a second missile was found with no consequences.
The enemy attacked Ukraine overnight with 25 cruise missiles.

During the first wave of the attack, around 10:00 p.m. on 8 May, the occupiers launched 8 Kalibr missiles from carriers in the Black Sea. The missiles were directed towards Eastern Ukraine. In particular, over Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, according to the head of the regional council, Mykola Lukashuk, 8 aerial targets were shot down.
However, debris from one of the projectiles fell on a four-storey building in Dnipro, pierced the roof and reached the third floor. The warhead of the missile was found on site – rescuers and bomb disposal experts removed it for further elimination. In addition, a woman was injured in Dnipro as a result of the attack – preliminary information indicates head and spine injuries.
The second wave began around 4:00 s.m. on 9 May. Then the russians launched 17 cruise missiles Kh-101/Kh-555 from four Tu-95MS in the Caspian Sea area. The Air Defence Forces of the centre and south of the country managed to shoot down 15 aerial targets. According to the KCMA, over Kyiv Oblast, "about one and a half dozen" missiles were destroyed.
Kyiv City Mayor, Vitali Klitschko, noted that during the attack, debris from one of the projectiles had fallen into a private yard in the Holosiivskyi District. There were no casualties, and the fire has already been extinguished.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had shot down 35 out of 35 russian Shahed drones during the night attack on 8 May. At the same time, in Odesa Oblast, a Kh-22 missile hit a food enterprise.
