According to the Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, in recent years, the biggest contribution to the formation of the black market in Ukraine has been the sale of cigarettes intended for duty-free shops.
This became known from the decision of the Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy.
According to the results of the work of the Temporary Investigative Commission on Economic Security regarding certain tobacco manufacturers, there are incomparable volumes of paid taxes per 1 tonne of raw materials, which, in the opinion of the TIC, also indicates the production of counterfeit products.
It is noted that according to the available operational information, there is a likelihood of producing unaccounted tobacco products and counterfeit products with the illegal use of signs for goods and services of well-known domestic and foreign manufacturers. Subsequently, such products are sold both in Ukraine and smuggled out.
