The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, reported that the air defence forces had shot down 6 Kinzhal aeroballistic, 9 Kalibr cruise and 3 S-400 and Iskander-M ballistic missiles, as well as 6 Shahed-136/131 type strike drones and 3 operational-tactical level UAVs.
According to him, none of the missiles reached their target – defenders destroyed all projectiles in the air.
The occupiers carried out a combined attack using drones, cruise missiles, and possibly ballistic missiles.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration.
The attack was carried out from different directions simultaneously. Additionally, the administration called the attack exceptional in its density, as the occupiers launched the maximum number of attack missiles in the shortest period of time.
Preliminary information suggests that the vast majority of enemy targets in the airspace of Kyiv were detected and destroyed. Information on the number and type of missiles will be reported soon.
In addition, the KCMA reported about debris from destroyed targets falling in the Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Obolonskyi, and Darnytskyi districts of the capital. The greatest damage was in Solomianskyi District – a non-residential building and several vehicles caught fire.
It is noted that in the rest of the districts, the damage was not significant – in most cases, debris was found to have fallen on parked cars, residential areas, or forest park zones. Moreover, there is no information about casualties.
The head of the Mykolaiv Oblast State Administration, Vitaliy Kim, added that the air defence forces destroyed 4 Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles over Mykolaiv Oblast, which the ruscists launched from carriers in the Black Sea.
Background. The russian troops are no longer capable of large-scale offensive actions. russians are looking for weapons all over the world, but so far these attempts are unsuccessful.
