President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has confirmed the information about the extension of the agreement. Hence, the operation of the 'grain corridor' has been extended for 60 days.

He added that russia had promised not to obstruct the entry of Turkish ships into the ports of Mykolaiv and Olvia.

"We will continue our efforts to ensure that the agreement will continue in the future by fulfilling all its conditions," Erdoğan commented.
