The day before, the russian Defense Ministry accused Ukraine of attacking the russian Black Sea Fleet ship Ivan Khurs in the Black Sea.

In a statement, the russian military said that in the early morning hours of May 24, the ship was attacked by three unmanned boats 140 kilometers northeast of the Bosphorus Strait. According to the russian Ministry of Defense, all the boats were destroyed, and the russian ship was not damaged.

The russian Ministry of Defense also published a video that allegedly shows the battle.

However, a source in military circles confirmed the authenticity of the video and noted that the russian ship was damaged in the attack.

"It did not sink, but it was hit, there is significant damage to the hull and equipment," the source said.
