In May this year, demand for new trucks in the Ukrainian car market was the highest in the last 15 months – UkrAvtoProm

Compared to May last year, registrations in this segment of the car market have doubled, and relative to April of this year, they increased by 2.6%.

Compared to the pre-war May 2021, registrations of new commercial vehicles are lagging by 11%. 

The best results of the month were demonstrated by the brand Renault. 

The top five brands in the commercial vehicle market in May were:

• Renault – 327 pieces;
• Volkswagen – 81 pieces;
• Mercedes-Benz – 66 pieces;
• Citroen – 66 pieces;
• Peugeot – 52 pieces.

Since the start of the year, the Ukrainian fleet of trucks and specialised vehicles has been replenished with 4,122 new cars, which is one and a half times more than the same period last year.
