The russians are preparing for the evacuation of both representatives of the occupation administration and the local population in temporarily occupied Armiansk in the north of the Crimean peninsula.
This is reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
It is noted that in this city the occupiers are mining the Crimean Titan plant. Engineering units of the occupation army are laying explosives at the factory and adjacent territory.
"A terrorist act at the Crimean Titan enterprise, which the Russian invaders are preparing for, will mean an artificial technological disaster, terrible in its consequences," the DIU points out.
In the event of an explosion at the plant, an ammonia cloud, depending on the wind direction, will cover adjacent areas within half an hour. Occupied Armiansk, Krasnoperekopsk Rayon, and southern rayons of Kherson Oblast are primarily at risk.
About 200 tonnes of technological ammonia is used in the refrigeration equipment of the Crimean Titan.
Background. Due to the terrorist act committed by the enemy at the Kakhovka HPP and, as a result, the absence of water in the North Crimean Canal, production processes at the Crimean Titan plant in Armiansk are disrupted to a critical level. The russians consider it impossible to restore work in a minimally proper mode. On the territory of the temporarily occupied Armiansk, there is information circulating about the likely shutdown of the Crimean Titan.
