It is noted that a visit with representatives of Czech companies interested in specific projects in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast is already planned for July.
This was stated in an interview with Mind by the Czech Ambassador to Ukraine, Radek Matula.
According to him, in the winter period, the Czech Republic provided assistance to Dnipropetrovsk Oblast of almost 55 million euros.
The ambassador says that Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and the Czech Republic have long been linked by traditional economic relations, and Czech entrepreneurs have always considered this region one of the most industrially developed in Ukraine.
"As far as I know, Czech business is again interested in investing here – in the power industry, transport infrastructure, water treatment plants," says Radek Matula.
For instance, since 2018, the project office of Škoda Transportation has been operating in Dnipro, the results of whose work can be seen at the Škoda factories. And this year, issues of implementing some projects related to the restoration of destroyed infrastructure were discussed with the management of Škoda and Metrostav a.s. (the largest construction company in the Czech Republic and the second-largest in Central and South-East Europe).
Background. Mind previously reported that Nova Post had opened its first branch in the Czech capital.
