The government has allocated 3.3 billion UAH for the restoration of areas affected by the aggression of the russian federation

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated on a non-repayable basis 3.3 billion UAH from the Fund for the Liquidation of the Consequences of Armed Aggression for the implementation of an experimental project for the restoration of settlements affected by the russian armed aggression.

This is stated on the government website.

According to the document, the government has allocated funds to the following settlements: the urban-type settlement of Borodianka (Kyiv Oblast), the town of Trostianets (Sumy Oblast), the village of Tsyrkuny (Kharkiv Oblast), the village of Posad-Pokrovske (Kherson Oblast), the village of Yahidne (Chernihiv Oblast).

It is noted that the funding is directed towards:

• construction of public buildings, civil defence shelters, and military objects (structures, houses, positions, barracks, warehouses, roads, etc.);
• construction of infrastructure facilities, especially related to providing services for water supply, drainage, production of thermal energy, heating, electricity;
• development of design documentation for providing housing to those who lost it as a result of military actions caused by the armed aggression of the russian federation;
• development of design documentation for the reconstruction, major repairs of objects damaged as a result of the armed aggression of the russian federation;
• restoration of damaged residential objects (including summer houses and garden buildings) and public facilities;
• new construction of residential objects for individuals who have lost housing due to the military actions caused by the armed aggression of the russian federation, development, and conduction of expertise on project documentation for the construction of such objects.

Background. Mind previously reported that the government has allocated 271.4 million UAH from the state budget for one-time assistance to those affected by the undermining of the Kahovka Hydroelectric Power Plant by the russian federation.
