Polish Prosecutor General Zbigniew Zebro confirmed that the missile that fell on the territory of the republic in November 2022 and killed two people belonged to Ukraine.

According to him, experts have concluded that the missile was most likely Soviet-made. Also, the investigation has no doubt about the place of launch and ownership – the missile was Ukrainian.
Earlier, the Polish edition of Rzeczpospolita, citing sources, wrote that according to the investigation, the missile belonged to the Ukrainian air defense system and could not have been launched from either Russia or Belarus.
The missile fell on November 15 in the village of Przewodów in the Lubelskie Voivodeship of Poland, 6 km from the border with Ukraine. Two people were killed in the incident.
According to the spokesman for the National Prosecutor's Office, Lukasz Lapczynski, the investigation in Poland has already taken all possible investigative actions.
It is clarified that the Polish prosecutor's office initially leaned toward the S-300 version after finding missile fragments.
At the same time, experts emphasize that the missile could not have come from Russia, as it can cover no more than 90 km, and they also rule out a launch from Belarus, as it is 150 km from Przewodow in a straight line.
