The Cabinet of Ministers has supported the issuance of a temporary permit for a child to travel abroad in the Diia app. Now the permission of both parents can be obtained online.
Source. This was announced by Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
"Everything will work very simply. It is necessary that both parents have Diia. One sends an application for permission, and the other gives consent in the Diia.Signature application. Then the data is automatically entered into the State Register of Civil Status Acts, and border guards will be able to check everything online," Fedorov wrote on his official telegram channel.
He clarified that the service in Diia will be completely free of charge, while the classic method of obtaining consent from a notary will remain available to parents.
Background. Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Digital Transformation has added the "Unbreakable" checkpoints to the Diia app – information is available about checkpoints in all regions, except for some, due to the security situation.
