In the morning of November 11, 19 cars of a freight train derailed in the Ryazan region. The incident occurred as a result of an explosion on the tracks, according to Russian media, as well as a representative of the territorial police department. The 112 Telegram channel also reported earlier that the cars overturned after a characteristic "pop".
One of RBC's interlocutors said that the freight train was moving near the Diagilevo station when the explosion occurred. As a result, the cars of train #2018, which was carrying mineral fertilizers, derailed.
The press service of the Moscow Railways confirmed the incident, specifying that it occurred "as a result of interference by unauthorized persons."
The assistant driver suffered minor injuries. The company assured that the incident will not affect the environment and will not cause delays in the movement of passenger trains and electric trains.
At the moment, repair trains have been sent to the scene, and Russian Railways has formed a headquarters to coordinate response actions.
The Rospartizan telegram channel wrote about the incident:
"We remind you that freight trains (as an important part of the circulatory system of the Putin regime's economy) are a legitimate target for partisans. In their moronic press releases, the authorities are babbling about an 'accident caused by outsiders'. The guerrillas are not "outsiders". They are at home. The struggle for the liberation of the country continues."
Background. As reported, "Kursk guerrillas" are destroying the surveillance equipment of the Russian Armed Forces, which is used to guide the DRG to target critical infrastructure and civilian Ukrainians.
