Pushcom operates in Ukraine: Finnish solution for businesses replacing traditional walkie-talkies
The Finnish company Wireless Technologies Finland is opening access to a critical real-time communication platform based on mobile networks for Ukrainian companies.
A new player has entered the Ukrainian critical communication market – Pushcom, a Finnish platform for secure communication and workforce management.
Pushcom is a professional communication tool that operates through cellular networks, including operations without internet access. The platform, created by Wireless Technologies Finland, combines push-to-talk (PTT) voice communication, GPS employee tracking, an alert system, and integration with other digital products. The solution is relevant for security services, construction, logistics companies, and other businesses where employees are dispersed across a site and require continuous communication.
Communication with Pushcom takes place through a mobile operator’s network, including without internet coverage. To implement Pushcom communication, there is no need to register a separate radio frequency or purchase walkie-talkies – for many businesses, it is enough to install the app on employees’ smartphones, leveraging a bring-your-own-device approach for a low-cost solution with quick implementation.
In businesses with higher communication requirements, such as those where employees work in noisy environments, Pushcom can be used on any device with the Android operating system.
The platform solves several tasks: continuous voice communication, NSA-level encryption, impossibility of conversation interception, and reduction of risks faced by users of non-commercial walkie-talkie apps.
The Pushcom business app enables group and one-on-one communication, photo and video transmission without Internet access. At the same time, conversations are recorded, and a dispatcher can monitor employees’ locations on a map.
The solution includes a set of security features: SOS signal, man-down mode, quick response groups. A patrolling mode is also available for security services.
Pushcom stands out for its low battery consumption and can be configured depending on organizational needs.
