CEO Roksolana Pyrtko spoke about new children’s initiatives at the Spartak mall in Lviv

Supporting children’s and family initiatives will remain one of Spartak’s key development priorities

Throughout January, the Spartak sports and shopping mall in Lviv hosted a series of events for children and their parents, combining creative activities, social interaction, and entertainment formats. The initiatives aimed to create a comfortable environment for family leisure and the development of children’s imagination.

Young visitors enjoyed modeling workshops, interactive play zones, and meetings with animated characters, turning an ordinary visit to the mall into a shared creative experience for the whole family.

According to Spartak mall CEO Roksolana Pyrtko, such initiatives serve a much broader purpose than simple entertainment events.

“We consciously develop children’s initiatives because today kids especially need spaces where they can communicate, create, and feel supported. Spartak is not only a place for shopping, but also an environment where families can spend time together and restore a sense of normal, active childhood,” Roksolana Pyrtko emphasizes.

During the events, children created their own clay figures, took part in themed games, and actively interacted with animators. The events remained open and accessible to all visitors without prior registration, allowing families with diverse interests to participate.

“It is important for us that such activities take place regularly. Children need stable positive emotions, while parents need safe spaces where they can spend quality time together with their kids,” adds Roksolana Pyrtko.

The center also notes that supporting children’s and family initiatives will remain one of Spartak’s key development priorities. January’s events marked the beginning of a year in which the mall plans to expand educational, creative, and socially oriented activities for the Lviv community.
