What happened? The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has already identified nearly 900 russian invaders who committed crimes against civilians in the Kyiv region. The Ukrainian special services have all the information about the occupiers, as well as evidence of their atrocities.
Source. This was reported by the SSU press service.
Details. More than 2,500 ruscists, whose subunits were based in the Kyiv region, are currently being investigated for involvement in the crimes.
Investigative and operational subunits of the Service interviewed almost 7,000 witnesses of hostile atrocities. The SSU also exposed about 100 collaborators who helped the enemy in the Kyiv region.
In order to continue effective work on documenting the war crimes of the occupiers, the Security Service of Ukraine has opened a separate hotline for those who have any information about the crimes of the russian invaders in the Kiev region.
Background. Several days ago in his President's address, Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the first ten russian servicemen from the 64th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the russian Land Forces, who committed crimes against our people in Bucha, have received the status of suspects.
“We know their names. We know all the details about them and their actions. And we will find everyone, just as we will find all the other russian thugs who killed and tortured Ukrainians, who tormented our people, who destroyed houses and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. None of these scum will escape justice,” the President assured.
