It is informed that as of May 2, at least 181,000 Ukrainian children were forcibly deported to russia and the so-called “lpr” and “dpr”.
Source. This was reported by the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security.
Details. Children are forcibly deported to Volodymyr, Omsk, Rostov, Chelyabinsk, Saratov, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sakhalin regions.
In order to prevent children from returning to their home country, russia is preparing to simplify and speed up the adoption procedure. A bill on simplified registration of orphans has been submitted to the State Duma.
According to this bill, an application and an identity document are enough for registration. Thus, in fact, orphans captured by russians will receive “social support” from the country-kidnapper, and the authorities will not punish them for living without registration.
Also, the State Duma of the russian federation together with the Ministry of Education has prepared an agreement with the “lpr” and “dpr”, according to which a russian family can “legally” adopt an orphan from the occupied territories of Ukraine.
According to the russian president, it is not necessary to have russian citizenship to take care of a Ukrainian orphan. This point is taken into account when preparing juridical changes in legislation.
“To quicken the forced adoption of Ukrainian children, russia will organize a survey and collect data about all children. They will check whether they have close relatives on the territory of “lpr”, “dpr”, or in russia. If there are no relatives, temporary guardianship is executed, which will eventually turn into adoption,” the statement says.
russia had already deported orphans from the occupied territories of Ukraine in 2014, when it attacked the Luhansk and Donetsk regions for the first time and seized Crimea. Its actions were described by Ukraine as international abduction and illegal displacement of children. Orphans were returned to Ukraine through the European Court of Human Rights.
It is noted that russia's crimes against Ukrainian orphans and the consequences of legislative changes will complicate the process of returning children to Ukraine.
Previously. In the area of Rubizhne town, the russian occupiers abducted children and then forced their mothers to reconnoiter the positions of the Ukrainian military under the pretext of receiving humanitarian aid.
