It was informed that self-propelled artillery units M109 have already arrived in Ukraine. In addition three types of 155-mm artillery – howitzer M777, howitzer FH70, and self-propelled artillery system CAESAR – are already working on the front line.

Source. This was announced by Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov on his official Facebook page.

Details. According to him, this is a very high-quality equipment and its delivery was the result of cooperation between several countries.

“It was simply impossible to imagine that even in March. But today, thanks to the great teamwork led by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, this is already a reality,” Reznikov said.

He also noted that the trained Ukrainian teams will use Harpoon missiles to strengthen the country's coastal defense.

“I am confident that the fighting fraternity of Harpoons and of our Neptunes will help to liberate and save our Black Sea, as well as defend our Odesa city,” he said.

Moreover, among the latest supplies Reznikov mentioned more than 100 American UAVs of various types. He added that he would like to see many more weapons, because they can help to save people's lives.

“At the same time, we should be aware that during the last month and a half, for example, we have received much more Western-type artillery shells than Soviet-type ones! The main thing is that we have already received more weapons than all the plants of our friendly countries are able to produce in six months. And we'll get more. After all, the number of artillery will increase,” said the head of the Defense Ministry.

According to him, the strategic decision to switch to NATO-type heavy weapons already has a concrete dimension, and the cooperation of partner countries that provide Ukraine with weapons and equipment is already unprecedented.
