It is informed that the Verkhovna Rada (the Supreme Council of Ukraine) of Ukraine has approved the bill №4135, which determines the directions of state anti-corruption policy for the coming years.

Details. The constitutional majority of 310 people's deputies voted for this bill.
“From now on, Ukraine has a clear anti-corruption strategy! According to preliminary estimates, it will help save up to UAH 200 billion a year,” said Verkhovna Rada Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk.
According to him, the document provides many measures aimed at minimizing corruption risks in priority spheres for Ukraine, in particular – in the defense sector.
Background. Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada supported the ratification of the Istanbul Convention (on the prevention of domestic violence and violence against women).
