The representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksandr Motuzianyk, stated that up to 70% of russian missile strikes fell on peaceful cities and non-military objectives.
On Friday, Oleksandr Motuzianyk claimed that only 30% of russia's missile strikes hit military objectives.
“The rest 70% of the strikes are deliberately directed at peaceful cities by the russians. That's why russia should be recognized as a terrorist country,” he said.
“The only way to stop this missile terror is to destroy the missiles that russia fires at Ukraine,” Motuzianyk emphasized.
According to him, during the attack on Vinnytsia on Thursday, the anti-aircraft systems worked “as well as they could.”
“Two missiles out of five were shot down. If we had more powerful modern anti-aircraft weapons, we could destroy more. Today we really need modern anti-aircraft defense,” Motuzianyk stressed.
He added that HIMARS were already working well on the front line, and more than 30 military logistics facilities of russia had already been destroyed thanks to these American multiple rocket launching systems.
Earlier, Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov stated that only 50% of russian missiles were shot down by the Ukrainian air defense system.
