Details. The attack took place on the night of September 19 around 00:20 a.m. The russian missile fell 300 meters from the nuclear reactor. The shock wave knocked out more than 100 windows and damaged the station building. There were no casualties among the station employees.
Due to the impact, one of the hydraulic units of the Oleksandrivka HPP, which is part of the South Ukrainian energy complex, was shut down. Furthermore, 3 high-voltage power lines were disconnected. All 3 power units of the South Ukraine NPP are currently operating in normal mode.
