What happened? The Armed Forces of Ukraine have already liberated more than 400 square kilometres of Kherson Oblast.
Source. Natalia Humeniuk, the spokeswoman of the Operational Command South.
Details. Currently, the invading army was caught between the Ukrainian military and the bank of the Dnieper River. If the occupiers do not have the opportunity to get across the river to the left bank, they will find themselves surrounded by the AFU.
Ms. Humeniuk also notes that the appearance of newly mobilized soldiers of the russian army who do not have proper training was recorded in Kherson Oblast. The spokeswoman emphasises that the front-line units and the main personnel that the command relies on are airborne troops. A lot of them were drawn up, as it was obvious that the battles would be difficult and it would be necessary to hold out for a long time.
