What happened? The occupying forces are increasing the number of personnel at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP, since the Ukrainian side does not shell the facility.

Source. The daily update of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Details. The General Staff also reports that the occupiers are intensifying regime measures – at the checkpoints around temporarily occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, they conduct thorough searches together with representatives of the russian federal security service (FSB).

In addition, to replenish the losses of manpower, the russian military leadership recruits mercenaries, including citizens of other countries. The General Staff learned about the arrival of 200 foreign militants on the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea on October 9. In the future, it is planned to involve them in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine.

At the same time, in Primorsko-Akhtarsk of Krasnodar Krai, the sending of demobilized persons to the training centers of the Armed Forces of the russian federation has been suspended until November 1. This is due to the fact that these institutions are not ready to accommodate, train and comprehensively support a large number of personnel.
