Details. According to the report, the phased restoration of the power system continues. Repair crews are working around the clock. The resumption of electricity supply to household consumers is underway.
“In order to keep the balance in the system in such conditions, in the morning, the Dispatch Centre of Ukrenergo informed each oblast power distribution company about the consumption volumes that they must adhere to during the day,” the company said.
It is noted that oblast power distribution companies independently determine the schedules of disconnections of consumers, and the Dispatch Centre of Ukrenergo only sets the necessary limit on amount of consumption.
The amount of available capacities in the system is sufficient to optimally and evenly alternate the restrictions of consumers in each oblast and Kyiv.
Ukrainians were urged to consume electricity economically. “This will allow us to apply less restrictions aimed at preventing accidents, and will also allow power engineers to focus on repairs of damaged facilities, on which the power supply of entire oblasts depends,” Ukrenergo explains.
