Ukraine will attract EUR 32.5 million loan from Germany for Ukrenergo

The funds will be used to restore substations damaged by the enemy

What happened? Ukraine will attract a loan of 32.5 million euros for Ukrenergo from the German state bank KfW to restore substations damaged by the enemy.

Details. “In addition, we propose to redirect part of the EIB loan funds to the reconstruction of one of the key substations in Kyiv Oblast. We have approved the relevant draft law,” the Prime Minister says.

He notes that Ukraine will also receive important assistance from international partners. According to Mr. Shmyhal, not only governments, but also businesses and ordinary citizens demonstrate solidarity:

In addition, an assistance package is being agreed with Japan, which will include equipment for urgent repairs of the power system and more than 240 generators.
