What happened? Power companies resumed electricity supply to 77,000 consumers in 80 settlements of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts within a week.

Details. It is noted that the networks of these settlements periodically suffer from russian shelling, so power engineers have to regularly restore the electricity supply to them.

“Specialists of DTEK Grids distribution system operators continue to restore power grids with the permission from the Armed Forces and the State Emergency Service, despite the shelling and the difficult situation with hostilities,” explaines Oleksandr Fomenko, CEO of DTEK Grids.

The company representative adds that since February 24, DTEK has restored electricity supply to 5.9 million families in Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro and Donetsk oblasts. At the same time, a significant part of them have already had their electricity restored at least 5 times.
