Details. “Due to damage to the power system and emergency power outages, metro trains will not be running today until the end of the day. Meanwhile, underground stations will be operating in the shelter mode,” the statement reads.
The city authorities ask citizens to use ground public transport. “Today, buses are running in the city on a regular basis, as well as those bus routes that operate to replace trolleybuses. Tomorrow, additional buses will be launched in the capital to duplicate tram routes,” the administration said.
In addition, private carriers in Kyiv have been instructed to ensure the increased running of buses on routes in the mode of fixed-route taxi.
