What happened? The end of the heating season will not lead to a significant improvement in the situation with power outages in Ukraine.
Source. Dmytro Sakharuk, the Executive Director of the DTEK company, during the national TV marathon, UNIAN reports.
Details. According to him, the volume of power generation in Ukraine in spring will not increase significantly.
"To be honest, I do not think that the situation will fundamentally improve, because on the one hand, there will be a decrease in consumption, since it will be warmer, but on the other hand, scheduled repairs will begin, which are not being carried out now. And this means that the volume of generation in Ukraine will not increase significantly," Mr. Sakharuk said.
He noted that it was becoming more difficult to restore the energy infrastructure after each attack.
"Therefore, we cannot expect that April will come and everything will be 100% good. We understand that after each shelling it becomes more and more difficult to restore energy facilities, because they become more and more vulnerable," said Mr. Sakharuk.
