What happened? The available volume of generated electricity is distributed to ensure the processes necessary for the operation of energy and critical infrastructure (water utilities, boiler houses, hospitals), as well as to cover the needs of industry and the population.

Details. It is noted that two units at thermal power plants are involved in operation, while one is out of service for emergency repairs. Network restrictions are in effect only in Odesa Oblast.
Due to russian missile and drone attacks, power plants (generating capacities) and the high-voltage network were damaged. 13 missile and 15 drone attacks caused significant damage to high-voltage network facilities and power plants. Consequently, electricity generation at operating power plants cannot fully cover consumption needs.
All oblast power distribution companies were informed of consumption limits. As of the morning of February 3, no excess of the limits was recorded, and no emergency power cuts were applied by the dispatch center of NPC Ukrenergo.
Over the past day, the enemy subjected the energy infrastructure in Kharkiv, Kherson, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk oblasts to massive artillery shelling. The situation is particularly difficult after the shelling in Kherson Oblast. Some facilities in the neighbouring Mykolaiv Oblast are without power as well due to significant damage.
It is noted that Ukrenergo's repair crews have restored the functionality of key equipment at several substations in eastern and southern Ukraine.
