The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has recognised the Wagner PMC as an international criminal organisation. "The relevant resolution No. 8397 was voted in favour by 333 MPs, according to Yaroslav Zhelezniak, MP from the Holos (Voice) parliamentary group.
"In addition, Resolution No. 3735 on the recognition of russian private military companies as terrorist organisations was approved," the MP added on Telegram.
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, commented on the vote of the Verkhovna Rada on the Wagner PMC.
"Today's recognition of the Wagner PMC as a terrorist organisation in the Verkhovna Rada is a step towards bringing its members to justice. Ukraine will appeal to the courts of allied states, and in the future this will affect the confiscation of russian assets," he wrote on Telegram.
