Details. It is noted that the key areas of cooperation include the implementation of infrastructure reconstruction projects, the continuation of decentralisation reform and the implementation of effective regional policy.
The Ministry of Infrastructure expects that cooperation with the Association will build a horizontal and mutually beneficial model of dialogue with the regions. For its part, the Ministry plans to present a number of legislative initiatives aimed at strengthening the capacity of local governments.
The memorandum also provides for cooperation between the parties on:
"Successful regional policy or the implementation of reconstruction projects is impossible without close cooperation between central government and local self-government," comments the head of the agency, Oleksandr Kubrakov.
