Ukraine reduces electricity imports due to stabilisation of the power system

There is currently no electricity shortage, no limits have been set

Ukraine is reducing electricity imports due to the stabilisation of the power system.

This is reported by NPC Ukrenergo.

It is noted that all power plants operate according to the commands of Ukrenergo dispatchers. At the same time, electricity imports are insignificant and decreasing "substantially".

No daily consumption limits have been imposed on the oblasts to date, but in the event of a sharp increase in consumption, power cuts may be applied. In addition, due to unfavourable weather conditions, there are power outages because of damage to operators' networks in a number of oblasts of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, actual electricity consumption is being measured in Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Ternopil oblasts. At the same time, in Odesa and the oblast, network restrictions remain due to damage to equipment at Ukrenergo's substations.
