Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has signed a decree according to which enterprises that fail to fulfill state defense orders will be subject to external management in the event of martial law.

The decree states that in case of disruption of supplies under martial law, the company's management organization will be determined based on proposals from the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The essence of the decree is simple: if a company fails to fulfill its obligations under the state defense order, the rights of shareholders and management are terminated, and external management is introduced.
Who will manage the company will depend on the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which will provide its recommendations.
According to the document, the Russian government should set up a working group to assess how companies fulfill state defense orders and whether they need to be placed under external management.
If a company violates the terms of supply of weapons, uniforms or other products required by the Russian army, the commission will initiate the interception of management. It will notify the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which will remove the company's board of directors, shareholders' meeting or other executive body from the company's management. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will then determine who will take over the management of the company.
Currently, martial law has been imposed only in the "dnr-lnr", Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions.
