Ukraine is receiving alarming signals from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) mission at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP.
This was announced by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Halushchenko.
Diplomatic efforts to return Zaporizhzhia NPP to Ukraine are currently unsuccessful.
"The situation has reached a deadlock. Our position, which we express at all international platforms, is that any negotiations on ZNPP should be based on: first, the demilitarisation of the plant, and second, the withdrawal of Rosatom employees from ZNPP," explained the Energy Minister.
Mr. Halushchenko added that Ukrainian personnel should be able to operate the nuclear facility without pressure. However, according to him, in response, Ukraine received "putin's insignificant decree that ZNPP is 'federal' property."
Previously. The occupiers brought more than 600 mobilised soldiers and cadets to ZNPP. The ruscists also set up a machine gun position on the roof of the plant's Unit 5.
