Four Ukrainian cities to attract €34.5 million grant from NEFCO to build housing for IDPs

We are talking about Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, and Novovolynsk

Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, and Novovolynsk are to attract a €34.5 million grant from the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO) to build housing for internally displaced persons.

This is stated on the NEFCO website.

Investments are planned in Ivano-Frankivsk – €9.5 million, in Ternopil – €9.5 million, in Khmelnytskyi – €8.4 million, and in Novovolynsk – €7.1 million. The project provides for the construction of housing with fully equipped and furnished apartments with a usable area ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 square metres in three- to five-storey buildings.

Tenders in each city are scheduled to be held from the beginning of April 2023. Contractors interested in participating in the tenders are invited to express their interest no later than 31 March 2023.
