By the end of the year, the 16th Mechanized Division of Poland, located near the border with the Kaliningrad region, will receive HIMARS systems.
In addition to HIMARS, the division will receive Korean K2 tanks and K9 self-propelled howitzers.
"Russia is trying to restore its evil empire and is attacking its neighbors. Our task is to create a strong and reliable Armed Forces of Poland so that Russia does not dare to attack our country," the Minister emphasized.
The Polish authorities ordered the HIMARS system back in 2019. In total, the United States will supply Poland with 500 such systems as part of this order.
Background. As a reminder, fake military vehicles and HIMARS from the Czech company are in great demand.
