UN member states have signed a statement condemning the deportation of Ukrainian children to russia.

This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration.

The joint statement was issued by 49 countries and the European Union. The document was released in response to russia's attempts to organise an informal meeting of the UN Security Council, where russians would try to prove the alleged "legal grounds" for the deportation of Ukrainian children.

"We condemn the actions of the russian Federation in Ukraine, including, in particular, the forced deportation of Ukrainian children, as well as other serious violations against children committed by russian troops in Ukraine," the statement reads.
