Occupiers are preparing provocations in Zaporizhzhia Oblast under the guise of 'evacuation'.
This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, Mayor of Melitopol.
The mayor emphasised that in evacuation flights, which had departed from the temporarily occupied Tokmak deep into the captured territory, only a third of the passengers were civilians, the rest were disguised russian military personnel.
At the same time, in the occupied part of the region, people are massively trying to buy medicines and long-term use products, but shops have stopped receiving goods, and markets are barely functioning. Fedorov added that even buying bread was becoming problematic for locals.
In addition, according to him, hospitals are closing in the occupied areas, and people are being prematurely 'discharged' onto the streets. At the same time, residents are further frightened by promises to turn off electricity and water if a counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine begins.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the occupiers began transporting residents of Enerhodar to Berdiansk and Prymorsk. The so-called 'evacuation' applies to people who have russian passports.
