Ukraine resumes electricity exports to Poland – Ukrenergo

Country also exports electricity to Moldova during night and day hours

Ukraine is exporting electricity to Moldova during both night and day hours. Additionally, from today, exports to Poland have resumed. 

This information is provided by the National Energy Company Ukrenergo.

It is noted that there is currently no import into Ukraine. "Electricity production currently fully covers consumption. The second wave of high water levels is subsiding, but hydroelectric power plants continue to operate actively. Additionally, solar and wind power plants have seasonally increased their electricity production," the statement reads.

Active repair works are ongoing at all facilities of the main networks damaged by russian attacks. The energy system continues to recover, but the extent of the damage is substantial.

Background. Earlier, Ukraine and Poland modernised a high-capacity power transmission line for electricity exports.
